A New Powertrain

The new powertrain has fetched some of its characteristics from the mill found in the TVS Jupiter 125 (smaller bore and same stroke layout), with peak power output of 8PS and 9.8NM. There is a bump in performance, all thanks to the new “IGO Assist” Hybrid system, which deploys a dedicated battery pack, offering torque when required and gets charged when the scooter cruises down the road. The technology not only provides a bump in power delivery but also aids fuel efficiency.

 

A Futuristic Design

A new colour palette has been developed for the new Jupiter. As a result, the new TVS Jupiter looks more youthful. TVS Motor believes the demography in the country is led by young individuals. Considering this, the scooter features an infinity LED light bar at the front and rear; the body panels are also seamless with minimal panel gaps.

One of the highlight features is the relocation of the fuel lid at the front apron, it improves the riding ergonomics as the fuel tank gets much lower down, freeing up the under-seat area for more storage space.
